Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Omni Scanner (formerly Snap2Save / Business Card & Event AI Scanner), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

Description of Service

Omni Scanner is an AI-powered mobile application designed to scan, extract, and format contact details and calendar event information from photos, business cards, PDFs, and physical documents, saving them directly to your device.

Third-Party Services & SDK Integrations

Omni Scanner integrates third-party software development kits (SDKs) and cloud APIs to provide analytics, attribution, advertising, and AI text processing:

  • AppsFlyer SDK: Used to measure marketing attribution, install sources, and feature activity events.
  • Facebook Audience Network (Meta SDK): Used to deliver and measure advertisements served within the app.
  • Google Gemini & OpenAI ChatGPT APIs: Used for optical character recognition and text parsing.

By using Omni Scanner, you acknowledge that your usage is also subject to our Privacy Policy and the respective terms and privacy policies of these third-party providers.

Acceptable Use

  • Use the app only for lawful, legitimate personal or professional purposes.
  • Ensure you have permission to scan and process any business card, document, or personal data.
  • Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
  • Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the application or integrated SDKs.

Advertising & User Consent

Omni Scanner may display third-party advertisements served via Facebook Audience Network (Meta). Where required by law (including Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework on iOS 14.5+), you will be prompted for consent before personalized ad tracking occurs. You may manage or revoke your consent at any time via your device settings.

User Responsibilities

  • Verify the accuracy of extracted contact and event information prior to saving to your device.
  • Maintain the security of your physical device and backups.
  • Use the app in accordance with these Terms of Service.

Limitations and Disclaimers

  • AI text extraction accuracy depends on image quality, lighting, and document formatting; service is provided "as is".
  • We are not liable for inaccurate extractions, lost data, or third-party service interruptions.

Intellectual Property

Omni Scanner and its proprietary branding, software design, and code are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of the documents and contacts you process locally using the application.

Termination

You may terminate your agreement with these terms at any time by deleting the application from your device.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms periodically. Continued use of Omni Scanner following updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
